Success Stories

Over the years numerous students from Toni’s vocal studio have gone on to complete music degrees in schools across the country.  This year (2011), students have been accepted to the following Universities:

  1. Longwood University, Music Education – Jordan Biscardo
  2. Virginia Commonwealth University Department of Music, Vocal Performance – Zarah Brock
  3. George Mason University School of Music and Ithaca College School of Music, NY- Eliza Janus
  4. Virginia Commonwealth University Department of Music, Vocal Performance – Anna Moore
  5. Randolph-Macon College, Music Studies – Caitlin Rosedale
  6. Virgina Tech, Music Education – Brittany Walker

In addition to being accepted in to a variety of music schools/programs, students have also achieved much success as the leading and supporting roles in several 2011, area high school musical productions including:

  2. The Music Man, Marian The Librarian (Performed by   Chancellor High School)
  3. Godspell, Jesus (Performed by Jordan Biscardo, Brooke Point High School)
  4. Godspell, Multiple supporting roles (Performed by Brittany Walker)
  5. Big River, Joanne Wilkes (Performed by Anna Moore, Spotsylvania High School)
  6. Alice In Wonderland, Cheshire Cat (Performed by Aemilia Letkiewicz, Battlefield Middle School)

Other Vocal Accomplishments

  1. Prestigious honor of being selected as a participant in the Summer Residential Governor’s School for Visual and Performing Arts, Jaime Hauber.  

The investment in private vocal lessons certainly pays off in terms of acceptance into music programs and scholarships students receive.
